The data records the 1279 baptisms and 497 burials at the Church of the Good Shepherd,
Tatham Fells, from the 17th century until 1837, when their recording became no longer
the responsibility of the parish. Marriages could only be conducted at the main
parish church of St. James the Less, Tatham, which has 1038 records for the whole
parish going back to 1557. The data were transcribed from other Parish Register
transcriptions in order to be able to sort them according to name (presumed present spelling) or person's abode
(place).
